Use of Longitudinal Data in the Evaluation of the Scottish Government's Strategic Outcomes
Longview carried out this project for the Scottish Government in collaboration with the Scottish Centre for Social Research (ScotCen). The evidence collected involved interviews with senior government officials, discussions with an expert group of academics with expertise in Scottish longitudinal research and documentary evidence for 29 studies were reviewed in depth. A successful one day workshop was held in Edinburgh on 30th June 2008 to consider the findings and the final report was submitted on 14th July 2008.
